This pendant is a beautiful natural solid Boulder Opal from Australia. There are wonderful flashes of pinks and greens on the face of the opal. The shape is freeform. The brightness of the opal was rated a 3.9 (grading from 1 – 5). It is a small stone but very stunning.
The stone has been wire-wrapped with sterling silver wire and put on a 14 mm sterling silver enhancer to allow the pendant to be worn on various different necklaces. The pendant looks lovely on a silver chain, a string of pearls or a coordinating necklace.
The pendant measures 52 mm x 20mm (2 1/8 x 7/8 inches) and is 6 mm (1/4 inches) thick. It has been wire-wrapped with 24 gauge sterling silver wire.
