This pendant is a beautiful solid Yowah Nut Boulder Opal from Australia. The outside of the Boulder Opal is a very dark brown which surrounds gorgeous fiery green inclusions. The luster of the opal was rated a 6 (grading from 1 – 6). It is a small stone but very stunning.
The stone has been wire-wrapped with sterling silver wire and put on a 14 mm sterling silver enhancer to allow the pendant to be worn on various different necklaces. The pendant looks lovely on a silver chain, a string of pearls or a coordinating necklace.
The pendant measures 40 mm x 18mm (1 1/2 x 3/4 inches) and is 3 mm (1/8 inches) thick. It has been wire-wrapped with 24 gauge sterling silver wire using 5 strands.
